As far as hobbies are concerned, I guess I have a few. I think that's part of my problem. I have too many darn hobbies and not enough time to do them all.
Probably my top hobbies are all sports related. I'm really starting to love ice skating and I owe that to being a season ticket fan of the . The Force are our local minor league hockey team. They are in the , which is equal to the AA's in baseball minors if you were wondering. All those free skate sessions after the games have given me the bug. I've been enjoying so much that I want to start playing in some pickup games. Now to just find the time.
Part of my ice skating success comes from the fact that I and play roller hockey. While I'm no on blades, I play pretty well and I love it! The contact, the running, the beating the goalie for the score (normally a 11 year old but hey, I take what I can get). I'm starting to be a hockey junkie and I love it!
Keeping the sports theme going, I'm into softball. This year Kelly and I entered a league with a few other people from work. We've been practicing for a bit and guess what happened on our first game? WE GOT BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER! It wasn't bad, it was ugly. We lost 38 - 1. The important part is that we had fun and no one got hurt. It's just a game and we all knew that. I played short-shop and I thought I did fairly well defensively. Offensively, well, I sucked. There's always next game.
I'm still working at the Police Department as an auxiliary . I still love it and I miss it terribly but you make decisions in your life and you have to live with them. I did the right thing by leaving and I'm doing the right thing by still working part-time. I've always felt that I made a good officer. I miss all my friends at the PD. I don't stop by often enough, I need too.
Finally, I enjoy playing computer games but I don't do it that often, meaning I'm not a freak about it. It's not my life, just a time killer for me. The only games I play are and , but I'm primary stuck in Rouge Spear. I used to play a lot but that fad passed and thank the lord, it was soaking up quite a bit of my free time.
